I'm not typically one to write reviews, but since Casamera sent multiple followup emails in the weeks after my purchase, I shall oblige.
My experience with the towel has been disappointing, frustrating, but mostly just baffling. It is large, very thin, and stretches in an odd way that prevents it from ever folding back into the neat square in which it arrived. These are all forgivable characteristics, especially if the miraculous advertising claims are to be believed ("Wraps you up like it actually cares"!)
What isn't forgivable is the film of fabric fuzz this towel will leave on your body should you choose to do something as audacious as - I don't know - use it to dry off after a bath. Little strands of shedded fabric will be deposited onto the skin and adhere there from the moisture, something the towel is supposed to wick away. Toweling more vigorously will only entrench the little buggers, causing them to pill and adhere ever more stubbornly. I wound up having to shower a second time.
I initially gave the towel the benefit of the doubt, running it through a few wash cycles (following instructions, of course) and hang-drying to see if this shedding would abate, but it did not. I'm left with what may not be the worst towel I've ever used, but it is certainly a close second. It is, simply put, not suitable for its intended purpose - unless one is imminently planning a costume party and in need of an impromptu fur suit.
